2026 BOARD NOMINATIONS
Are you interested in helping support Secular AA?
Secular AA is accepting nominations for the Board of Secular AA. Members of our community are welcome to put their names forward or nominate someone
they believe would serve well.
Secular AA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that supports secular AA meetings worldwide and the International Conference of Secular AA (ICSAA).
All applications are reviewed by the Nominating Committee. After completing its evaluation, the committee submits a recommended slate to the Secular AA Board. The Board reviews the recommendation and votes on whether to advance it. The final decision is made by the membership, who vote on the Board‑approved slate at the Annual General Membership Meeting later this year (December).
Three positions are available: Secretary, Treasurer, and Members‑at‑Large. Most Board roles do not have a sobriety‑length requirement. The Treasurer position is the only exception and requires a minimum of five years of continuous sobriety.
